Millions of Americans believe they have a food allergy, but a controversial new medical report suggests that many of them aren't truly allergic.
The report in the Journal of the American Medical Association says that only 5 percent of adults and 8 percent of children have food allergies -- the remainder only think they do.
The report points to flawed allergy tests as one reason for frequent misdiagnosis, but the millions who think they have an allergy still have plenty of questions.
