WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently published the revised guide for industry, "What You Need To Know About Administrative Detention of Foods; Small Entity Compliance Guide."
The guide provides updated information pertaining to FDA's authority to order the administrative detention of human or animal food under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, and is amended to reflect the Food Safety Modernization Act.
