FDA recently posted a blog in which the administration discussed how partnerships the administration builds with other nations are key to FDA’s success in giving American consumers confidence in the safety of the foods they choose to serve their families.
The blog post was written by FDA’s Susan Mayne, Ph.D., Camille Brewer, M.S., R.D., and Donald Prater, D.V.M.
The authors noted that FDA held a two-day public hearing in which they received input from domestic and international food safety experts on how the administration can build on strategic partnerships.
They discussed some of the calls to action they have developed in response to the meeting.
