WAYNE, Pa. - The International Academy of the Visual Arts has honored Deacom, Inc., producer of an integrated accounting and ERP solution for food and beverage manufacturers, with an Award of Excellence in The 2009 Communicator Awards for its marketing campaign promoting the white paper "Integrated ERP for Food Manufacturing: A Strategic Weapon for a Competitive Environment."
The Communicator Awards is one of the leading international awards programs honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. The annual competition recognizes the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive, and audio. The 2009 Communicator Awards received more than 7,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms, and public relations firms.
"The quality, creativity, and execution of this year's work are a true testament to the talents and abilities of communications professionals around the world," said Linda Day, director of the IAVA. "The entries received reflect an increasingly diversified industry and the work once again sets the bar extremely high."
Deacom was recognized in the integrated campaign, business to business category with an Award of Excellence, the IAVA's highest honor.
Deacom's ERP white paper campaign was designed to benefit food and beverage manufacturing executives by discussing how fully-integrated food ERP software can help manufacturers solve common industry challenges, such as complying with the Bioterrorism Act, establishing effective lot tracking, generating accurate labeling, and managing expiration dates. The white paper explores these issues and provides critical functionality to look for in an effective food ERP software solution - including recipe management, inventory control and lot tracking, regulatory reporting, production, QA/QC, purchasing, sales, and accounting.
