Eric VanHouten Joins Copesan as Vice President of Operations

VanHouten has more than 20 years of progressive responsibilities in accounting, strategic planning, business unit development and project management. He most recently worked at Waste Management.

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — Copesan announced that Eric VanHouten joined the organization on April 27, as vice president of operations.

VanHouten is a highly experienced manager who has led diverse teams of professionals to success in a variety of situations. He comes to Copesan with strong technical and business qualifications and an impressive track record of more than 20 years of progressive responsibilities in accounting, strategic planning, business unit development and project management. Most recently, VanHouten was with Waste Management, where he began as district controller, then district manager and finally, was director of operations managing a $180 million operation including six collection districts, seven landfills, 350 routes and 600 employees.

VanHouten brings to Copesan a proven ability to successfully analyze an organization’s critical business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions. He holds an MBA from Central Michigan University with a Finance concentration.
