SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. - An employee of a California Bumble Bee Foods plant died last week in an industrial accident, the Whittier Daily News reports.
Jose Melena, 62, was fatally injured while becoming trapped inside a "steamer machine," authorities told the news outlet. The incident is being investigated by the California Division of Occupational Safety. It is unclear how the man ended up inside the cooker.
