The IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo takes place June 28 through July 1 in New Orleans.
The conference offers several presentations on food safety, including two related Short Courses on the subject matter, held Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside:
- Recalls: Best Practices in Prevention, Management, and Crisis Communications
- Food Safety for the Non-Food Scientist
Keynoting this year’s conference is Tom Kelley, a best-selling author and general manager of IDEO, the design and development firm that designed such cutting-edge products as the Apple mouse and the Palm V. While working at IDEO, Kelley has proven over and over that everyone can contribute creatively to a project, and that innovation can be made a cultural way of life in an organization.
Kelley’s most recent book, The Ten Faces of Innovation, reveals ten unique strategies for making sure that good ideas make it to market. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to hear directly from Kelley as he shares insights and specific concepts that you can use to foster innovation within your own organization.
