Eagle Product Inspection will spotlight its latest inspection technologies, equipped with PXT photon-counting x-ray technology, at PACK EXPO, scheduled for Sept. 29-Oct. 1 in Las Vegas.
Eagle said it will offer food and meat processors a firsthand look at how to prevent recalls, ensure product quality, increase efficiency and meet FSMA traceability requirements. Visitors can explore Eagle’s products at Booth #N-7610.
Eagle will display the following at PACK EXPO Las Vegas:
MAXIMIZER RMI with SimulTask PRO and PXT.
The MAXIMIZER RMI offers bone detection across raw poultry products, including breasts, tenders, thighs and legs. It features photon-counting x-ray technology, PXT, for high-resolution image capture, alongside Eagle’s SimulTask PRO image analysis software that processes up to 65,535 greyscale values per image. This combination provides bone detection with real-time analysis in one-tenth of a second, said the company. The system integrates an automatic reject management system for real-time removal of non-conforming product. The MAXIMIZER maintains a small footprint and is engineered for maximum hygiene and ergonomic operation, said Eagle.
RMI 400 with TraceServer.
With FSMA’s traceability deadline extended to July 2028, processors still have time to implement solutions, said Eagle. The RMI 400 with TraceServer detects contaminants, including bone fragments as small as 1 mm, and records inspection data automatically to support traceability and compliance. Designed for ease of sanitation, the system can be disassembled and reassembled in minutes, said Eagle, meeting food safety standards including HACCP, GFSI and BRCGS.
Pack 400 HC with PXT.
The Pack 400 HC is designed for harsh washdown environments and inspects meat, poultry, seafood and dairy products. This system performs multiple tasks simultaneously, such as contaminant detection, mass measurement, component counting and seal integrity checks. It features SimulTask PRO software for inline contaminant detection within a design that prioritizes cleanability and operator access, said Eagle.
Pack 430 PRO with PXT.
Ideal for mid-sized packaged products and multilane production lines, the Pack 430 PRO inspects poly-wrapped items and products in foil or metalized film. It can simultaneously inspect identical or dissimilar products across two lanes or dedicate one lane to rework.
Eagle experts will be on hand at the show to discuss applications, answer questions and offer insights into optimizing inspection performance.
