Eagle Product Inspection
As food manufacturers introduce more complex packaging formats — including multi-ingredient trays, deeper bowls and compartmentalized packages, maintaining consistent inspection performance at high line speeds has become increasingly challenging, Eagle Product Inspection said.
Eagle Product Inspection is highlighting the Pack 430 PRO X-ray inspection system with PXT as a solution for processors seeking greater inspection stability, operational efficiency and regulatory alignment across demanding packaging environments, the company said. The Pack 430 PRO is designed to deliver clear, consistent imaging across layered, dense and compartmentalized trays while maintaining stable performance at high throughput rates, according to Eagle Product Inspection.
The Pack 430 PRO aims to help processors address key challenges on today’s packaging lines by:
- Delivering clearer imaging across layered, dense and compartmentalized packaging formats
- Maintaining stable detection performance at high line speeds
- Simplifying product changeovers to reduce operator error and variability
- Reducing false rejects and unnecessary stoppages to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Supporting consistent inspection practices aligned with FSMA preventive controls and applicable USDA verification expectations
As manufacturers look ahead to 2026, priorities such as automation, reduced manual handling and maintaining quality on increasingly complex lines continue to shape equipment decisions. The Pack 430 PRO supports these objectives by enabling higher throughput and inspection consistency without adding labor or operational burden, Eagle Product Inspection said.
The system is suited for prepared foods as well as refrigerated and frozen applications. For more information on Eagle’s X-ray inspection solutions, visit www.eaglepi.com.
