TOKYO — DuPont Qualicon and its distributor, GSI Creos Corporation, recently hosted a food safety technology seminar in Tokyo, Japan.
About 150 people attended the seminar, including industry, government and academia representatives. The customer event focused on yeast and mold in food. Many of the speakers described how new technologies — including the BAX system from DuPont Qualicon — can be used to reduce yeast and mold in food products.
"This was a very successful event," said Michael Chong, business manager, DuPont Qualicon, Asia Pacific. "The information was timely and the attendees were interested in learning about our commitment to food safety and our innovative technologies that address problems with yeast and mold."
