ERIE, Pa. - Eriez is offering a free downloadable PDF that offers answers to the most frequently asked questions about cabinet x-ray systems.
“There are a lot of misconceptions about x-ray technology,” said Ray Spurgeon, Eriez' X-Ray product manager. “We produced this FAQ document to help educate others on the x-ray technology and its capabilities.”
Safety precautions, operator requirements, radiation emission standards and more are covered in the FAQ document, Eriez said. “We compiled a list of the ten most commonly asked questions we have received over the years regarding x-ray systems and technology and provided concise answers in easy-to-understand language,” says Spurgeon.
As described in the FAQ document, cabinet x-ray systems have become an extremely popular detection method as they offer the ability to detect more than just contaminants. Utilizing x-ray inspections systems, customers can scan for piece counts, missing product, deformities, as well as many other processing errors.
