Dr. Darin Detwiler, assistant dean of academic and faculty affairs at Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies in Boston, will be a featured speaker at TEDxNortheasternU 2020 (VIRTUAL) - speaking about my journey as a food safety leader in the upcoming - on October 24.
His presentation is titled “Inspiring Change: Harnessing the Hidden Hercules” - an opportunity to reflect on how my experience in advising government regulators, industry leaders, and grieving parents shifted over the past few decades.
Detwiler will also be hosting an Xlab focusing on the discussion of media, corporate social responsibility, and human needs - all themes found in my book FOOD SAFETY: Past, Present, and Predictions (Elsevier, 2020)
