Crystal Chem has announced the release of its new food allergen lateral flow kits for raw and processed foods. These kits use a proprietary buffer for high recovery of proteins, notably in processed foods. The kits will now allow manufacturers to quickly and reliably test allergens onsite. These kits complement Crystal Chem’s existing line of innovative ELISA kits which use the same proprietary technology to produce highly sensitive, accurate results. The ELISA kits are the official method for testing allergens in Japan and have been validated by more than 10 labs. Both lateral flow and ELISA kits are available for egg, milk, wheat and peanut.
