VERNON HILLS, Ill. - The recently updated Masterflex Tygon E-Food Tubing from Cole-Parmer is now available for use in Masterflex perstaltic pumps, the company announced.
The newly formulated E-Food Pump Tubing is BPA- and phthalate-free and meets Food and Drug Administration standards, Cole-Parmer said.
Tygon's smooth, nonporous bore will not trap particles or promote bacterial growth, the company reports. The tubing is compatible with foods containing high oil content, and is engineered for long-life in perstaltic pumps and is custom extruded to fit Masterflex pumps.
