Chobani Acquires Daily Harvest

Daily Harvest, a meal delivery service that specializes in gluten- and dairy-free, plant-based, premade frozen meals, announced that it is joining the Chobani family, an American food company specializing in strained yogurt.

"This acquisition is a natural next step — and one that we believe will bring even more goodness your way," said Ricky Silver, CEO of Daily Harvest, in a letter announcing the acquisition. 

Silver described Chobani as "a company whose values and vision beautifully align with our own."

Daily Harvest's products, website and care team will remain the same, according to Silver's announcement.

"What will be new are the exciting possibilities ahead:  fresh ideas, new innovations and continued dedication to making your experience even better," said Silver.
