China Bans Meat from U.S. Firms

Salmonella, an anti-parasite drug and other additives cited in Beijing's ban.

BEIJING — China has suspended imports of from Tyson Foods and several other U.S. meat processors, in an apparent attempt to turn the tables on U.S. complaints about tainted products from China.

China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine late Friday said frozen poultry from Springdale, Ark.-based Tyson Foods, the world's largest meat processor, was contaminated with salmonella.
