CERT ID Solutions Offers Food Safety & Quality Pre-Certification Consulting and Training Services

Established in November 2015, the newly formed CERT ID Solutions will provide knowledge-based consulting and training aimed at preparing manufacturers undertaking market-leading food safety and quality programs. Through its suite of standardized and customized services, CERT ID Solutions will help companies keep pace with fast-evolving certification requirements, evaluate vulnerabilities to food hazards and provide brand protection and the assurance of safe practices for retailers and consumers.

CERT ID Solutions will work with clients to fulfill the prerequisites and requirements for key GFSI-benchmarked certification schemes including SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, Gluten-Free, and GLOBALG.A.P.

“As a consultant, our focus is primarily on pre-certification,” said Joan Moeller, who is helming CERT ID Solutions as Director of Food Safety Solutions. “Our dedicated team will assist clients in choosing the right certification schemes and then provide the consulting, expertise, and training necessary to successfully navigate the rigorous requirements of those programs.”

Services are focused on risk assessment, program readiness, third-party gap analysis, training and consulting with the overarching goal of preparing clients to undertake the requirements of food safety/quality certifications and seals to fulfill strategic and marketplace goals.

CERT ID Solutions offers online Hazard Analysis and Critical Point (HAACP) training courses, is an SQF training center, and also offers BRC-approved training providers (ATPs). Technical Director Mike Pearsall will head up client programs. Pearsall has worked in food safety and quality for over 30 years for numerous food certification companies and food/drink suppliers in consulting, training, auditing, product development, and quality supervision.
