Building consumer trust and confidence in the contemporary food system is increasingly challenging amid heightened environmental concerns, rapidly rising food costs, skyrocketing energy prices and the wide array of other issues facing the food system.
“Balancing for Success” is the focus of the Center for Food Integrity’s 2008 summit set for Oct. 8-9 in Indianapolis. Industry leaders will offer opening and closing keynotes. We’ll also offer breakout sessions where we share the latest nationwide consumer research, hear from a consumer panel and discuss food system issues with industry experts. The 2008 summit will focus on:
- Energy/Sustainability
- Immigration
- Food Animal Well-Being
- Food Safety
You can learn more about these issues and the organization's perspective by viewing CFI’s Platform Statements.
