WASHINGTON — Additional information affecting Class I and Class II recalls of meat and poultry products based on statutory requirements that became effective July 1, 2007, has been provided by the California Department of Public Health, according to the American Meat Institute.
Any meat or poultry supplier, distributor, processor or broker selling meat or poultry associated with a Class I or Class II U.S.D.A. recall must immediately notify C.D.P.H. and provide the department with a list of customers who received product subject to the recall.
