HENDERSON, Colo. - Birko has announced the hiring of Wood B. Norvell as technical representative. Norvell will be responsible for accounts throughout Texas and Kansas, the firm said.
"We're delighted to have Wood on board," said Philip Snellen, Birko's vice president of sales. "He's an accomplished professional with solid experience serving the needs of the food processing industry through chemistry and equipment. He'll be a great addition to Birko."
Based in Amarillo, Norvell will be responsible for serving protein processors in Texas and Kansas. Before joining Birko, he was a regional manager with the Vincit Group. His background also includes positions with PureLabs, where he was a meat manager and DeLaval, as national accounts manager. Norvell earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Oregon.
