BioMerieux, a provider of vitro diagnostics, has acquired PML Microbiologicals Inc., a provider of culture media and microbiological products in North America for both clinical and industrial applications.
PML, which has manufacturing and marketing teams in Portland and Toronto, Canada, has 205 employees with 2007 sales of $24 million.
Marcy L’etoile, France-based BioMerieux purchased all shares of PML Microbiologicals from Pelican Life Sciences Group, based in San Diego, for $29.6 million.
