Archer
LOS ANGELES – Archer, a meat snack brand in the United States, announced the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Vernon, Calif.
Located outside of the downtown Los Angeles area, the facility supports Archer in keeping pace with rising consumer demand in the rapidly growing category, the company said.
To commemorate the milestone, Archer hosted an on-site ribbon cutting ceremony for partners and community leaders. With the opening of the facility in Vernon, Archer will add more than 200 jobs.
The Vernon facility is set to double Archer's overall manufacturing capacity, enabling production of over 36 million pounds of meat sticks — or more than 1 billion Archer Mini Sticks — per year and positioning the brand to meet the growing demand amid consumer trends toward clean label, protein, convenience and snacking, said Archer.
