The American Meat Science Association (AMSA) will host a Quality Assurance 101 course, March 31-April 1 in Kansas City, Mo. Attendees will have the opportunity to spend time with some of the industry’s top experts in the field of quality assurance.
Program topics will include: introduction to QA philosophy, product quality principles, collection and use of data, basic sanitation and sanitary design, regulatory issues, preparing for audits, food safety concerns and shelf life issues.
NAMP members receive the members-only rate of $395 before March 15. NAMP is co-sponsoring the course, along with the National Meat Association and the American Association of Meat Processors.
