Called the 5700 Series, the rolling slat steel door provides medium-duty service at the economical price-point of sheet roll-up or sectional doors, the company said.
“We believe our the 5700 Series rolling slat steel door will be very popular among builders for commercial applications, especially those seeking high quality while working under tight budget constraints,” said Steve Roesner, Amarr’s commercial products manager. “Among the uses for Amarr’s commercial doors are in industrial plants, warehouses, shopping centers and storage units. Some people even prefer the commercial doors on residential garages.”
Amarr’s 5700 Series has curtains that are constructed of individual three-inch slats with either a curved profile (Model 5700) or a flat profile (Model 5701) that provide strength and security in high-traffic situations. The individual slats are easily replaceable if damaged by equipment, ensuring uninterrupted service and long-lasting aesthetic appeal.
“Standard wind load ratings far exceed industry standards for comparable roll-up and sectional doors, making the 5700 Series a natural choice for coastal areas and high-security warehousing,” Roesner added. “They’re tough, dependable doors.”
The 5700 series is available in galvanized or pre-painted white, lightstone tan and duro-bronze colors. All colors have a white interior prime coat. The doors are available in widths up to 14 feet and heights up to 14 feet, have a 12-inch steel enclosure barrel and come with optional electric operators.
