Albion Devices Introduces New Temperature Sensor Amplifier

SOLANA BEACH, Calif.- Albion Devices, Inc., an engineering firm specializing in precision measurement instrumentation, recently announced the introduction of its new, Albion 5000 Temperature Sensor Amplifier.

This two channel unit reads the output from up to two of Albion’s temperature sensors and converts the signals to scalable analog voltage ranges (0 to 10 vdc). Signals can then be read by analog input channels on a host such as a PC or a gaging or data acquisition system.

The Albion 5000 amplifier and sensors can be used for any temperature data collection activity. In particular, now Albion’s temperature sensors can be adapted for use by OEMs and system developers without the need to have sensors read by an Albion temperature compensation system such as GageComp or MicroComp.
 
For temperature compensated gaging applications, the two channel system enables the use of one sensor to monitor workplace and master temperatures while the other channel monitors gage fixture or ambient temperature. Albion’s temperature compensation algorithm can be made available to interested users.

Amplifier and sensors are sold separately. The amplifier is compatible with all of Albion’s standard temperature sensors.
