AIB International announces the appointment of Scott A. James to the position of director of Latin America Business Development for AIB International.
James joins AIB after a distinguished career of service of 29 years with the United States Air Force. Before retirement from the Air Force, his final position was Director, Medical Enlisted Personnel/Public Health Manager – Air Force Special Operations Command. During his career, Scott had supervisory and hands-on food safety sanitation consultant and audit experience in over 2,500 facilities around the world. He is certified as a Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Consultant in 16 food categories. In addition to numerous awards, decorations and much continuing education, James earned an MBA in Business/Human Resource Management in 2006.
James will be charged with the mission of leading the promotion, marketing, and overall support of AIB’s existing and new programs, products and services as they relate to food safety inspections and auditing, food safety education, food labeling, and baking science and technology education and technical services. He will be based out of Panama City, where he resides, and will travel extensively across Mexico, Central, and South America.
James brings to his new position a unique set of skills and experiences. He has a passion for customer service and is eager to bring his knowledge and can-do attitude to support our customers and business development throughout the Latin America region.
