SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - SafetyChain Software announced that Dr. David Acheson has joined its board of directors.
Dr. Acheson is a partner at Leavitt Partners and oversees its Food and Import Safety practice. Prior to joining Leavitt, he served as chief medical officer at the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service and chief medical officer at the FDA Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN). He is also a frequent author and speaker in the food safety and quality assurance industry.
