3M Food Safety has received the silver Stevie Award in the New Product and Services category and subcategory of Health & Pharmaceuticals Products for the 3M Clean-Trace Hygiene Monitoring and Management System. This year marks the American Business Awards’ 15th annual celebration of recognition.
3M’s Clean-Trace System was nominated in the “Best New Product or Service of the Year” category. More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including “Startup of the Year,” “Executive of the Year,” “Best New Product or Service of the Year,” “Marketing Campaign of the Year,” “Live Event of the Year,” and “Company of the Year,” among others.
“Considering all of our efforts to ensure the 3M Clean-Trace technology remains at the top of the industry, we’re very honored by this recognition,” said Tom Dewey, 3M Food Safety global marketing manager. “The team literally immersed themselves within customers’ production environments to attain the very best in quality, and we’re proud to accept the award.”
The 2017 panel of judges consisted of more than 190 international professionals. One noted: “The system appears to be addressing a strong market need around accuracy and speed,” while another concentrated on its functionality, commenting that “the dashboard view sounds easy, with good analytics, and would really improve testing precision and accuracy.” The overall sentiment can perhaps be best summed up by a final judge’s simple conclusion: “We need more products like this.”
“Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
Stevie Awards are conferred in seven programs: the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, the German Stevie Awards, The American Business Awards, The International Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, and the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. Stevie Awards competitions receive more than 10,000 entries each year from organizations in more than 60 nations. Learn more about the Stevie Awards at www.StevieAwards.com.
