Lone Jespersen, Ph.D., founder and principal of Cultivate SA, an organization dedicated to eradicating foodborne illness by working with companies to transform their food safety culture, recently sat down with QA to discuss the lessons learned over the course of her 20-year food safety career, from finding herself on the frontline of a Listeria outbreak at Maple Leaf Foods in 2008 to meeting customers wherever they’re located around the globe on their unique journeys to building a strong food safety culture.
