Public health officials are looking into a suspected norovirus outbreak at the Bali Hai Restaurant that sickened more than 60 people who attended a recent awards banquest, the San Diego Tribune reported.

The investigation started after multiple reports of food-poisoning symptoms were made to the county Department of Environmental Health.

Michael Workman, director of the county communications office, said Monday that all of those reports were linked to the banquet, which was catered for the San Diego Society of Professional Journalists.

“There are currently no reports of illness in individuals who did not attend the banquet but were customers at this restaurant,” Workman said.
