Health Canada and the Food & Consumer Products of Canada (FCPC) are running a Nutrition Facts Education Campaign to help Canadians better understand and use the Nutrition Facts table and the Percent Daily Value (%DV) information.
Using %DV is a quick way to know the nutrients in a packaged food, and can help consumers choose food products.
The campaign provides important information about food labels through on-package messaging, print ads, a television commercial and a website.
For more information about the campaign, visit http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/label-etiquet/nutrition/cons/dv-vq/about-apropos-eng.php.
