Courses include Beverage Safety, PCQI Human Food (with FSPCA Certificate), Pet Food Safety, Food Allergens, Dairy Safety, Meat Safety, and new courses added regularly.

For all courses:

  • There are no prerequisites or degrees for these short courses.
  • Hosted on MSU’s online learning platform D2L (Desire2Learn).
  • Completion time recommended is 5 weeks (up to 12 weeks if needed).
  • 30 - 35 hours of study time suggested for successful completion.

Each course is $450, except each PCQI course is $850 (includes certification fee). After you register, you can expect an email within one to two business days with instructions on how to create and activate a MSU Community ID.
