The software aims to empower food safety and quality managers with actionable data-driven insights necessary to make important business decisions that reduce risk and maximize profit.

CAMARILLO, Calif. — Hygiena announced the launch of a new SureTrend Cloud tiered Software as a Solution (SaaS) offering. It empowers food safety and quality managers with actionable data-driven insights necessary to make important business decisions that reduce risk and maximize profit. This sophisticated tool offers a robust set of dynamic dashboards to visualize and report environmental monitoring, food safety and quality test results across multiple facilities. It also sends useful alerts when something is not working to specification. Hygiena’s proven and secure system already has large numbers of accounts in the cloud and has now been enhanced to offer a service component to all current as well as future users.

“Hygiena has one of the largest teams of food safety software developers in the world today allowing us to constantly be enhancing the SureTrend Cloud platform and addressing our broad customer base needs. We are dedicated to providing an industry-leading digital platform, which has a focus on making disparate information found in a food safety program easier to manage in one location, for multiple purposes. With billions of tests carried out each year in the food industry and Hygiena diagnostics present in most food manufacturing facilities around the world, we are uniquely positioned to help companies create and leverage the immense amount of food safety analytical data. In the new era of digital transformation, food manufacturers are realizing the value and even necessity of digitizing their food safety program,” said Mark Carter, Sr. Software Product Manager at Hygiena.

“By embracing digital connectivity and continuing to add more, which in the future will also include all food safety data points, Hygiena diagnostic results, as well as other diagnostic findings to our SureTrend Cloud solution, we are advancing food safety globally. SureTrend Cloud today empowers and informs customers in real time about conformance to their food safety program and deeper insights into trends potentially forming. The software does the thinking for the user, identifying issues before they become serious. This is just one of the benefits of the technology — the speed and accuracy with which it alerts people instantaneously rather than days or weeks later when the issue has already surfaced. However, we plan to keep on adding to the software to make audits, document control, sanitation, traceability, and other food safety items easier,” said Steve Nason, CEO of Hygiena.

SureTrend Cloud Highlights:

  • Drives organizational insights - by visualizing results across multiple facilities and methodologies with complex food safety processes
  • Assesses risks easily - by viewing trends and implementing early interventions to reduce risks
  • Prepares for audits - simplifying complexity with a single data source

Hygiena offers various packages to meet the different needs of our customers:

  • Premium - for food manufacturers who want to track, trend, customize, map, integrate and view data across a network of sites
  • Power - for food manufacturers who need to track, trend, and map data within a facility
  • Starter - for food manufacturers getting started with data trending within a facility and provided at no additional charge to current Hygiena customers

“To sum it up, SureTrend Cloud is an easy to use, secure cloud-based analytics platform that enables data-based decisions by simplifying the collection, storage, and analysis of technical data. It allows food manufacturers to gain peace of mind with the only software solution powered by the in-depth expertise of food safety diagnostics and outstanding customer support of Hygiena,” concluded Steve Nason.
