Unitherm Food Systems
As one the largest frozen produce exporters in Mexico and a supplier of frozen vegetables to Wal-Mart, the La Huerta division of Agroin processes frozen poblano chili peppers. With a hand-built griller limiting its capacity and consistency, Agroin turned to Unitherm Food Systems. Working with Agroin in its test kitchen, Unitherm roasted the peppers on a customized, high-volume flame griller, making adjustments until the product reached the specifications and volume needed.
