Join industry professionals for a half-day breakfast event to learn about the best sanitation practices for processing plants. Sessions will be delivered by PSSI Sanitation Inc. and NSF International's technical experts who will cover best practices in sanitary maintenance needed to guard facilities against a food safety crisis. 

Undeclared allergens account for almost 50% of the food recalls internationally on an annual basis. Inadvertent allergen cross contact with other foods through inadequately cleaned equipment is an issue that can present a risk to allergic consumers. Jennifer will share how allergen removal through cleaning of shared equipment or processing lines is a critical point for effective allergen control. The key to ensuring adequate removal is the validation and verification of the efficacy of the allergen methods used
